Inauguration of the asphalt project of the slaughterhouse road in the third district of Herat city

The asphalt road project of the slaughterhouses in the third district of the city was inaugurated by Seyed Abdul Wahid Qatali, Governor of Herat Province, and Ghulam Hazrat Mushfaq, Mayor of Herat, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman and members of the Advisory Board, lawyers, elders, influential people and youth.
With a length of 1,465 meters and a value of about 25 million Afghanis, this project is the second project of the Herat Municipality within the framework of the World Bank (CIP) program, which was prioritized by local residents last year and reached the implementation stage.
Sayed Abdul Wahid Qatali, Governor of Herat Province, expressed satisfaction with the start of development projects in the city of Herat, saying that the local administration will support any development program and will work to speed up the service process. The governor of Herat province praised the efforts of the service sector for the development of the city and stressed the continuation of these efforts.
Gholam Hazrat Mushfeq, Mayor of Herat, described the launch of the second urban road asphalt project within the framework of the program (CIP) as a positive step in the field of service and reducing the problems of citizens and promised that several more large projects will continue this year. Municipal administrations and partner institutions in urban areas will be implemented.
The mayor of Herat said that standard development requires the mutual cooperation of citizens with the municipality and the implementation of infrastructure projects such as asphalt of city streets and development of green space are among the plans of the municipality in the current fiscal year.
It is worth mentioning that three asphalt projects have recently been inaugurated by the Municipal Administration within the framework of programs (CIP) and habitat with a total value of 54 million Afghanis in the first and sixth districts of the city and have progressed by almost 35%.
