Introducing the Urban Investment Program (CIP) to the officials and engineers of the Technical and Professional Services Department of Herat Municipality

Officials of the World Investment Program (City Investment Projects) at the World Bank in a meeting with the presence of Gholam Hazrat Mushfeq, Mayor of Herat, introduced the purpose of launching this program in the city of Herat.

The Urban Investment Program (CIP) has been launched by the World Bank with the aim of fundamentally strengthening and financing the infrastructure of Afghanistan's major cities. Over the next five years, it is to provide a total value of $ 35 million in four major areas, including urban development and infrastructure projects. Strengthen the financial framework, project implementation management and improve the management framework of Herat Municipality.
