Green, Lush and Inviting Malekyar Park! Pruning and shaping trees, applying pesticides

Pruning and shaping trees, applying pesticides, mowing lawns, and watering the green spaces of parks and boulevards are among the key daily activities carried out by the General Directorate of Greening of Herat Municipality across the city’s 15 urban districts.

Officials of the General Directorate of Greening say that these activities are carried out regularly to preserve and expand green spaces, enhance the beauty and freshness of the urban environment, and provide a pleasant and suitable environment for citizens.

The relevant officials call on all respected citizens of Herat to observe green-space protection principles and cooperate with the relevant municipal departments. They also urge citizens to actively contribute to maintaining the city’s parks, boulevards, and other green areas, as well as keeping the urban environment clean and tidy.
