Investigations of guilds and businessmen of urban areas by the Anti-Hoarding Committee of Herat Municipality

Abdul Sami Wafa, head of Herat's municipal government, and chairman of the anti-hoarding committee, along with the deputy director of the advisory board and officials of the municipal administration's market management department, monitored the activities of supermarkets and bakeries in urban areas.
The head of the anti-hoarding committee of the Herat municipality said that the department monitored the activities and functions of supermarkets and bakeries in the fifth district of the city and emphasized on health issues, the department's announcements to limit activities and prevent group gatherings.
Mr Wafa also said that the bakeries and guilds that did not pay attention to the important aspects of the situation had been blocked by the committee.
The Anti-Hoarding Committee of the Herat Municipal Administration has been committing this heinous crime for some time, and the guilds and bakeries in different parts of Herat are monitoring and examining it every day.
The Anti-Hoarding Committee of the Herat Municipal Administration called on the general public, supermarkets and bakeries in 15 districts of the city, to seriously observe the health issues and the published announcements of the municipal administration.
Under the auspices of the municipal administration, however, city administrations of commercial markets, guilds and shopkeepers who engage in hoarding or ignore the municipality's declarations restricting the activities of guilds are blocking their shops.
