.Herat Mayor and Accompanying Delegation Visit and Inspect the Progress of Development Projects Across Different Districts of the City

As part of the ongoing monitoring program of the leadership of Herat Municipality over the implementation of development projects across the city’s fifteen municipal districts, H.E. Alhaj Hamdullah Nomani, Mayor of Herat, accompanied by Engineer Mohammadyar Shahab, Inspector of the Urban and Sectoral Services Department, Engineer Sabawoon Kakar, Inspector of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, along with a number of engineers and officials from the relevant municipal departments, visited and inspected the progress of several major development projects. These included the Ring Road project, the construction of a bridge over the Qaroon River, the road subgrade works for Darul Aytam Road, and the construction of the drainage canal on the eastern side of the Minarets Road extending to Mawlawi Tank, located in different municipal districts of the city.

During the visit, the Mayor of Herat emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of the projects while maintaining high-quality standards. He urged the contracting companies to complete the projects in accordance with the approved technical specifications and standards, within the stipulated timeframe, and with the required level of quality.

It is worth mentioning that the officials and engineers of the relevant departments of Herat Municipality regularly and continuously monitor the implementation of development projects across all fifteen municipal districts to ensure that every stage of execution is completed in compliance with contractual obligations, technical standards, and the established schedule.
