Herat mayor Ghulam Hazrat Moghafiq said the municipality had taken major steps to complete the Green Belt a long time ago and continued to prepare for the expansion after identifying new areas on the slopes of Zero Bed and Unknown Martyrs. The areas will begin in the coming days.
The mayor of Herat emphasized the joint efforts of all the Herat's districts to expand and grow the city's green space and called for public cooperation and human resources for Herat's local offices in the field of planting and conservation.
