Herat Local Government Leadership Board Visits Food Bank and Quaid 19 Deprivation Centers in First and Ninth Districts

Seyed Abdul Wahid Qatali, Governor of Herat Province, Gholam Hazrat Mushfeq, Mayor of Herat, Deputy and members of the Advisory Board of the Municipal Administration visited the Food Bank and Corona Disease Depression Centers (Quaid 19) in the first and ninth districts of the city. With the deadly virus, Corona was appreciated.

The centers have been set up with the aim of helping the needy families in the face of day-to-day restrictions and anticipating the deteriorating social situation caused by the increase in positive cases of coronavirus. Heravi is related to the fifth district of the city, Sultan Ghiasuddin Ghori is related to the first district of the city and the administration building of the ninth district of the city has been established.

The governor of Herat also expressed satisfaction with the actions taken by the district administrators in creating the evacuation centers for patients with Qovid 19, as well as food banks in the districts.

Gholam Hazrat Mushfaq, the mayor of Herat, expressed hope that such centers would be set up to help the needy and quarantine patients in 15 districts of Herat with the joint efforts of citizens.
The mayor of Herat also thanked the government officials for their participation, assistance and individual participation in the fight against the corona virus.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rahman Molavi Zadeh, deputy head of Herat's municipal advisory board, spoke of establishing two special committees consisting of municipal officials and city attorneys to prevent hoarding and identify needy families in neighborhoods.
