The Main Ansari 20th Road Asphalt Paving Project, located in Guzar 14 of District 8 of Herat City, covering a length of 390 meters and including the construction of open drainage canals on both sides of the road, has been officially inaugurated and commenced at a cost of 3,423,760 Afghanis, funded by the development budget of Herat Municipality.
The project was officially inaugurated by Engineer Mohammad Ayoub Saif-ul-Jihad, Director of Technical and Professional Affairs of Herat Municipality, in the presence of Mawlawi Ghulam Nabi Haqqani, Head of District 8, an inspector from the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, community elders, Guzar representatives, heads of development councils, and a number of residents of the respective area.
Officials of the contracting company assured that the project would be completed to the required technical standards, in accordance with the terms of the contract and tender documents, with good quality and within the specified timeframe, and would subsequently be handed over for public use.
Meanwhile, a number of residents of Ansari 20th Road in District 8 of Herat City expressed their satisfaction with the commencement of the project, stating that its completion would help resolve transportation difficulties along the route and provide greater convenience for citizens.
It is worth mentioning that the project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation within three calendar months by Bonyad-Saz Kohan Construction and Road Construction Company.
