Inauguration and Commencement of the Construction Project of the Canal on the Northern Side of Khwaja Murad Bakhsh and the Moallem 3 Canal in Guzar J6, at a Cost of More Than AFN 4.5 Million, in the First District of Herat Municipality
The construction project of the canal on the northern side of Khwaja Murad Bakhsh (Juy-e Akhir) and the Moallem 3 Canal in Guzar J6, located in the First District of Herat City, with a total length of 525 meters and a cost of AFN 4,500,220 funded from the development budget of Herat Municipality, was officially inaugurated and commenced by the construction company “Aseman Sa” in the presence of Engineer Mohammad Yar Shahab, Acting Head of the Urban and Sectoral Services Department; Engineer Sabawoon Kakar, Acting Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department of Herat Municipality; as well as local elders, Guzar representatives, heads of development councils, and a number of local residents.
The officials of the contracted company assured that the project would be completed in accordance with technical standards, with satisfactory quality, and within the specified timeframe, and would subsequently be handed over for use.
Meanwhile, a number of residents of Guzar J6 in the First District of the city welcomed the commencement of the project, considering it an effective step toward addressing existing challenges, improving the urban environment, and enhancing the well-being of citizens. They also expressed their appreciation to Herat Municipality for its attention to the implementation of development projects in various districts of the city.
It is worth mentioning that the project is expected to be completed and handed over for use within approximately four calendar months.
